Zagorsky Pipe Plant JSC (ZTZ) received approval from PJSC Gazprom of the Technical Specifications for bimetallic pipes, which are necessary for the production of products capable of reliably transporting hydrocarbons with corrosive components CO2 and H2S. Thus, Ztz JSC Has Confirmed the Possibility of Production aw Type of Products for the Strategic Needs of the Industry. According to Vitaly Golishev, technology director of the plant: "In preparation for production we have mastered new technologies, materials, carried out a lot of research to determine the corrosion resistance properties of the materials used and the production technology. At the moment our research allows to predict corrosion resistance of the pipeline depending on chemical composition of the transported medium. All work on developing technical specifications and launching pipe production was carried out in close cooperation with specialists from Gazprom VNIIGAZ, who also carried out extensive work on the welding technology for Mounting Ring Seams - Welding Materials Were Selected, Modes Were Determined, The Corrosion Resistance of Ring Seams Was Studied, and Mechanical Properties of Weld Metal Were Determined. - The Developed Technical Specifications are the Result of Oour Joint Work. The Main Volume of Tests, Including Corrosion Resistance Tests, Was Carried out at the Research Laboratory of Ztz JSC. Both Bimetallic Sheets with Different Variants of Chemical Composition of Cladding Layer and Samples of Pipe Metal and Welned Seam Were Studied. In the course of certification studies we also revealed regularities allowing us to predict corrosion resistance of particular stainless steel compositions depending on the composition of the medium transported via bimetallic pipelines, - commented Maxim Nedzvetsky, General Director of Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC. - The approval by ZTZ of the Technical Specifications for bimetallic pipes is a confirmation of the high quality of our products, which are capable of operating under most severe conditions, including transportation of hydrocarbons with corrosive components. In General, Clad Pipes Have A Longer Service Life, Imprved Technical Characteristics and We See a Growing Interest From Our Customers for this Position, Mainaging Direaging Direaging Direaging Direaging Direaging Direaging Direaging Direaging Direaging Direaging Direaging Direaging Direaging Direaging Direaging Direaging Direaging Direaging Direaging Direagings
